HNL Lab Medicine seeks a dedicated technician to process and prepare specimens for transport and analysis, support moderate complexity testing under supervision, and assist with quality control in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will help respond to STAT/Emergency requests, document results according to SOPs, and participate in onboarding and training of new staff, while maintaining strict accuracy and safety standards.

Formación

• Requires high school diploma or GED; two years in a clinical environment with data processing/specimen handling experience.
• AS degree preferred or equivalent demonstration of education and experience.
• Graduate of health/medical assistant or similar training program from an accredited institution where general laboratory technique is taught.

Responsabilidades

• Process and prepare specimens for transport and analysis.
• Perform basic quality control and assist with moderate complexity testing under supervision.
• Enter results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) under supervision of a technologist.
• Calibrate pipettes and thermometers per SOPs and record data.
• Prioritize work to respond to STAT/Emergency requests.
