Job summary

HNL Lab Medicine is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to perform high/compexity testing and support physicians with accurate results. You will operate advanced instruments, monitor quality control, and contribute to ongoing CSI initiatives.

The role includes specimen collection, staff training, and collaboration with clinical teams. Qualified candidates hold an Associate's degree in MLT, meet CLIA requirements, and possess strong analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for high complexity testing.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical information.
• Strong mathematical and analytical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs high/medium/waived laboratory testing per SOPs.
• Monitors instrument performance, documents troubleshooting, and reports results.
• Participates in quality control and performance improvement activities.
• Provides orientation/training to new employees or students.
• Prepares and/or collects specimens for analysis.
• Communicates results effectively with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Engages in CSI and continuing education programs.
