Parexel is seeking a Scientist 3 - Laboratory and Instrumentation Coordinator for a full-time, on-site role at our client site in Rahway, NJ. You will coordinate daily lab operations, manage resources, and ensure compliance with safety practices.

The role requires a BS in a life sciences or engineering field with 3–5 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with common analytical techniques and lab equipment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or similar life sciences or engineering discipline.
• Scientist 3 requires 3–5 years of relevant experience; Senior Scientist I requires 5+ years.

Responsabilités

• Act as the primary point of contact for laboratory functions and staff.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth lab operations during stand-downs and initiatives.
• Manage temperature storage facilities and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Prepare mobile phase and stock solutions and ensure expiry dates.
• Receive samples via LIMS and ensure readiness for testing.
• Submit work orders for equipment and calibrations; schedule technicians.
• Oversee inventory, procurement, and backorder management of lab supplies.
• Assist scheduling, escorting, and on-site supervision of equipment technicians.
