Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Scientist 3 – Laboratory and Instrumentation Coordinator for a full-time, on-site role with Parexel FSP at a client site in Rahway, NJ. You will manage daily lab operations, ensure safety practices, and optimize resource use across multiple labs.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a life sciences field and 3–5 years of lab experience, with strong organizational and communication skills and proficiency with common analytical techniques and instruments.

Qualifications

• BS degree in chemistry or life sciences with relevant lab experience.
• Experience in managing lab operations and safety practices.
• Proficiency with MS Office and cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for laboratory functions and staff guidance.
• Collaborate with teams during lab stand-downs and initiatives.
• Manage temperature storage facilities and expiry-controlled stocks.
• Prepare mobile phase and stock solutions for assays.
• Receive samples via the LIMS and prep for testing.
• Submit work orders for lab equipment and calibrations.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and supervise technicians.
• Oversee inventory and procurement of lab supplies.
• Assist with scheduling and on-site supervision of equipment staff.
