Job summary

Parexel seeks a Scientist 3 – Laboratory and Instrumentation Coordinator to join as a full-time Parexel FSP employee on a long-term assignment, onsite at a client location in Rahway, NJ.

The role focuses on laboratory operations management, equipment oversight, and collaboration across teams to ensure safety and efficiency. A BS in life sciences with 3–5 years of relevant experience is required, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related life sciences or engineering discipline.
• Scientist 3 requires B.S. with 3–5 years of experience; Senior Scientist I requires 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for laboratory functions and staff guidance.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain smooth operations during lab stand-downs.
• Manage temperature storage facilities and routine clean-outs.
• Prepare mobile phase and stock solutions; ensure expiry dates.
• Receive samples via lab management system and prepare for testing.
• Submit work orders for equipment, coordinate calibrations, and supervise technicians.
