Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Scientist 3 – Laboratory and Instrumentation Coordinator for a full-time, long-term assignment onsite with a client in Rahway, NJ. You will manage daily lab operations, ensure safety protocols, and coordinate equipment maintenance while supporting efficient testing workflows.

The role requires a B.S. in chemistry or related field with 3–5 years of experience. Parexel FSP offers full benefits, 401K, paid holidays, and PTO; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related life sciences or engineering.
• Scientist 3 – B.S. with 3-5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for laboratory functions and staff guidance.
• Coordinate lab operations during stand-downs and organizational initiatives.
• Manage temperature storage facilities, including emergency protocols and clean-outs.
• Prepare mobile phase and stock solutions for platform assays, ensuring expiry dates.
• Receive samples and ensure readiness for testing.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and service scheduling; supervise technicians.
• Manage inventory and procurement of lab supplies; review backordered items.
