Job summary

Parexel is recruiting a Scientist 3 - Laboratory and Instrumentation Coordinator to join Parexel FSP on a long-term assignment, based onsite at a client location in Rahway, NJ. This full-time role focuses on managing daily laboratory activities, safety, and efficient use of resources.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in life sciences or engineering and 3–5 years of experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with lab instrumentation and data management systems.

Qualifications

• Proven laboratory management experience with a strong understanding of lab operations and safety protocols.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in troubleshooting instruments in at least one of the listed techniques and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for laboratory functions and staff.
• Coordinate lab operations during stand-downs and organizational initiatives.
• Manage temperature storage facilities and ensure proper protocols.
• Prepare mobile phase and stock solutions for platform assays and maintain expiry controls.
• Receive samples and ensure readiness for testing.
