Job summary

UIL is seeking a Key Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of the largest commercial, industrial, and municipal customers in the Orange, CT area. You will influence and advise on natural gas and electricity issues, manage contract negotiations, and promote company programs and projects.

You will lead teams on complex projects, provide data analysis, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting emergency restoration efforts.

Qualifications

• MBA is a plus or 10+ years of directly related utility experience with business customer interaction.
• Experience selling to large commercial/municipal customers and negotiating tariff/rate issues.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of large commercial, industrial, and municipal customers.
• Lead negotiations on tariff, rate, and service issues.
• Promote company programs and manage major projects and trade allies.
• Provide data analysis and policy interpretation to customers.
• Support emergency restoration efforts as needed.
• Ensure policy/regulatory compliance and coordinate with senior leadership.
