Job summary

UIL in Orange, CT is seeking a Key Account Manager to oversee a premier portfolio of large commercial, industrial and municipal customers. You will guide them on energy solutions, account management, and project leadership from proposal through execution.

You will promote gas and electricity programs, build strong relationships with senior leaders, and drive strategic outcomes. The role emphasizes data analysis, policy interpretation and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Masters in Business Administration is a plus, or 10+ years related utility experience.
• Experience with large commercial, industrial and municipal accounts.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of largest commercial, industrial and municipal customers.
• Influence customers on gas and electric related issues including account management and service.
• Lead negotiations on tariff, rate and service issues and contracts.
• Provide data analysis and technical support for load information and policy interpretation.
