Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a seasoned professional for an on-site role supporting large Commercial & Industrial accounts. You will manage complex relationships, drive load growth, and provide tailored energy solutions while coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, legal, and rates departments.

The role requires extensive experience in customer engagement, project management, and a deep understanding of utility tariffs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in engineering, design, technical support, or economic development.
• Customer relationship management and engagement within commercial industrial electrical environments.
• Economic and business development.
• Problem-solving and strategic decision-making.
• Customer facing technical or engineering roles.
• Project Management.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison for FirstEnergy managed customers, delivering proactive engagement.
• Drive load growth and strategic partnerships through tailored energy solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to support customer initiatives and infrastructure development.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing in collaboration with Billing and Business Services.
• Engage with engineering, regulatory, and legal teams to align internal capabilities with customer goals.
• Identify opportunities to expand product lines and services through project management.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide trusted guidance across stages of projects.
