Job summary

Gordian is seeking a Senior Account Manager to deliver results for Job Order Contracting clients within a defined geographic area. You will manage accounts, train client staff, and drive renewals and upsells using Gordian’s data and software expertise.

The role requires construction procurement/management experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel 50–70% in the Cook County, Illinois region. Fortive portfolio backing and an equity/bonus opportunity accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of construction procurement/management experience.
• Knowledge of plans, scope, deliverables and tasks.
• Strong communication and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Ability to travel 50–70% within the assigned geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounts and build relationships with customers and contractors.
• Serve as SME on construction contracts, proposals and operations to drive renewals and upsells.
• Oversee project support including scope development and material take-offs.
• Coordinate contract renewals, scheduling, training for staff and troubleshooting.
• Identify root causes of customer success issues and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to exceed goals and provide strategic insight.
• Provide input on new processes and workflow; assist sales with business opportunities outside JOC.
