Job summary

Gordian seeks a Senior Construction Account Manager based in New Jersey to lead the NJ Operations team, drive Job Order Contracting projects, and deliver Gordian’s data and software solutions to clients. You will manage procurement objectives, develop scope and price proposals, and train contractors in Gordian tools.

Ideal candidates bring extensive construction procurement experience, strong leadership, and the ability to travel 50-70% within the region, ensuring projects meet time and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in engineering, architecture, construction management.
• 15 years of construction procurement, construction management, or general contracting related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial public construction operations, pricing and contracting.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to travel 50-70% within assigned geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the NJ Operations team and oversee Gordian's New Jersey activities.
• Prepare and maintain schedules of activities to achieve procurement objectives for clients.
• Oversee development and review of scope of work, proposals, and contract compliance through to notice to proceed and construction execution.
• Read construction plans and perform price proposal reviews and create detailed line-item proposals.
• Train contractors in Gordian software and client procedures; assist in bid processes.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Provide strategic insight to the Regional Director on NJ customers and market dynamics.
