Job summary

Gordian, part of Fortive, is seeking a Senior Account Manager to manage assigned accounts in the healthcare construction space, build trusted client relationships, and drive renewals, upsells and satisfaction. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, oversee contract renewals, develop procurement objectives, and coach staff to deliver exceptional service.

The role requires strong construction knowledge, superb communication, and the ability to travel up to 70% within the Cook County, IL area,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of construction procurement, construction management, or general contracting related experience.
• Knowledge of plans, deliverables, scope and tasks.
• Confident communication and ability to work with all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned account(s); develop positive working relationships with all customers and construction contractors.
• Serve as subject matter expert of construction contracts, proposals and operations to drive client retention, renewals, upsells and client satisfaction.
• Oversight of project support including scope development, material take-offs from plans and specifications, proposal review, and construction management.
• Work with and manage Account Managers on day-to-day processes including contract renewals, procurement objectives, troubleshooting, and software training.
• Identify root causes of customer success and failures; drive process improvements as needed.
