Job summary
Beehive Industries in Englewood, Colorado, is seeking an experienced engineer to design, develop, tune and test gas turbine engine control systems.
You will work with cross-functional teams on software and hardware, develop architectures and requirements, and represent the company with suppliers and airframers.
A strong background in NPSS, Matlab, Simulink and C/C++, 8+ years in gas turbine controls, and U.S. security clearance eligibility are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
- 8+ years of experience in gas turbine engine control systems.
- Strong understanding of engine control software tools (NPSS, Matlab, Simulink, C/C++).
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and evaluate aviation engine control system software and hardware.
- Develop control system architectures, engine controller schematics, and requirements.
- Lead test programs and coordinate with performance, operability, and aero engineers to optimize the control system.
- Coordinate with suppliers, airframers, end users and governing bodies.
- Provide timely communications and proper documentation of technical data.
