Beehive Industries in Englewood, Colorado, seeks an experienced engineer to design, develop, tune, and test jet propulsion engine control systems. You will lead software and hardware development, model-based analysis, and validation activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance propulsion solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in gas turbine controls, strong skills in NPSS/Matlab/Simulink/C++, and a track record of driving complex engine programs.US

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of experience in gas turbine engine control systems.
• Strong proficiency with engine control software tools: NPSS, Matlab, Simulink, C/C++.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and evaluate aviation engine control systems and software.
• Design and evaluate hardware for engine control systems and interfaces.
• Tune control laws for stability and performance.
• Lead IL/HL simulations, software/hardware-in-the-loop testing, and validations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure overall engine control system compliance.
