Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and support cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and AWS. You will create scalable microservices, serverless solutions, and RESTful APIs while ensuring security and performance.

This role requires working across distributed teams in the US with East Coast business hours, focusing on high-quality software and strong collaboration in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building enterprise apps with Java (8/11/17+).
• Strong Spring Framework/Spring Boot experience including REST services.
• Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, IAM).
• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support cloud-native apps using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Develop and maintain scalable microservices, serverless solutions, and event-driven architectures.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs with performance, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues using monitoring and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile and CI/CD practices.
