Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience developing enterprise applications using Java (8/11/17+)
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot, including RESTful services and microservices development
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS, including DynamoDB, S3, IAM, and Serverless technologies
• Strong knowledge of AWS Kubernetes (K8s) cloud technologies and event-driven architecture patterns
• Experience developing and maintaining Spring Batch applications for large-scale data processing
• Experience building and consuming APIs using REST, JSON, and OpenAPI specifications
• Strong knowledge of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and cloud security best practices
• Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog
• Strong experience with non-relational databases, particularly DynamoDB
• Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and GitHub Actions
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, application performance, and scalability considerations

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Kubernetes technologies
• Build and maintain scalable microservices, serverless applications, and event-driven architectures
• Develop batch processing solutions using Spring Batch to support large-scale data processing requirements
• Create and consume RESTful APIs while ensuring performance, security, scalability, and reliability standards are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues through monitoring, observability, and root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and CI/CD best practices to deliver high-quality software solutions
