Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and AWS in a remote US-based role. You will build microservices, serverless solutions, RESTful APIs, and ensure security, performance, and reliability while collaborating across agile teams and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience developing enterprise applications using Java (8/11/17+).
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot, including RESTful services and DI.
• Experience building cloud-native apps on AWS, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, IAM.
• Experience developing APIs using Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Understanding of serverless, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
• Experience with API design using REST/JSON/OpenAPI.
• Experience with Datadog or similar observability tools.
• Strong knowledge of multithreaded programming and performance optimization.
• Experience with non-relational DBs (DynamoDB, DocumentDB) and relational DBs (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Version control (Git/GitHub) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.
