Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and optimize modern full stack applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and AWS. You’ll work with product owners, architects, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions and drive CI/CD and security best practices.

Based in the United States, you’ll collaborate across distributed teams, adapt to multiple time zones, and contribute to high-performing, resilient software in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building full stack apps with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of software dev principles and architecture.
• Experience deploying cloud-native apps on AWS.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline implementation using GitHub Actions.
• Strong Git workflow and version control practices.
• Experience translating requirements into technical designs and plans.
• Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration with stakeholders.
