Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and AWS. You will build scalable microservices, serverless components, and RESTful APIs while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and Agile delivery is essential. The role supports remote work in the United States, with East Coast business hours and flexibility based on client schedules.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building enterprise applications with Java (8/11/17+).
• Strong Spring Framework and Spring Boot experience, REST services, DI.
• AWS cloud experience (Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, S3, IAM).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Develop scalable microservices, serverless solutions, and event-driven architectures.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs with attention to performance and security.
• Troubleshoot production issues via monitoring, observability, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile and CI/CD best practices.
