Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and support cloud-native applications on AWS using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend tech. You will work with cross-functional teams across Agile environments and contribute to scalable, secure software delivery.

Responsibilities include developing microservices, serverless components, and RESTful APIs, with strong emphasis on performance and observability using tools like Datadog.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building enterprise apps with Java.
• Strong Spring Framework and Spring Boot experience, including REST services.
• AWS cloud-native development (Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, S3, IAM).
• APIs using Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Observability tools such as Datadog.
• DynamoDB and DocumentDB experience.
• Git/GitHub and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Develop and maintain scalable microservices and serverless solutions.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs with performance, security, and reliability in mind.
• Troubleshoot production issues via monitoring and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile and CI/CD practices.
