Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and AWS. You will collaborate with architects, product owners, and developers to deliver secure, scalable solutions across modern cloud environments.

The role emphasizes RESTful APIs, serverless and microservices, observability, and CI/CD practices. You will troubleshoot production issues and contribute to Agile teams, with work arranged to fit East

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience developing enterprise applications using Java (8/11/17+)
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot, including RESTful services and dependency injection
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS, including Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, S3, DocumentDB, and IAM
• Experience developing APIs using Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Strong understanding of serverless, microservices, and event-driven architecture patterns
• Experience building and consuming APIs using REST, JSON, and OpenAPI specifications
• Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog
• Strong knowledge of multithreaded programming, concurrency, and application performance optimization
• Experience working with non-relational databases, particularly DynamoDB and DocumentDB
• Experience with version control systems such as Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
