Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud-native Java/Spring and TypeScript applications on AWS, delivering secure, scalable software for business outcomes.

You will collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to implement RESTful APIs, apply CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and ensure observability with Datadog while optimizing performance across microservices and serverless components.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building enterprise apps with Java (8/11/17+).
• Strong Spring Framework and Spring Boot skills, RESTful services and DI.
• Proven AWS experience (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, Step Functions).
• Experience building APIs with Node.js/TypeScript and OpenAPI specs.
• Proficient in Git/GitHub, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and observability with Datadog.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Develop scalable microservices, serverless components, and event-driven architectures.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs with focus on performance, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues with monitoring, observability, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and developers using Agile and CI/CD best practices.
