Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer - Scrum Master to support FAA-related air traffic systems in a hybrid role. You will design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native Java microservices while acting as Scrum Master for an Agile team.

The position requires 8+ years in Java development, 2+ years as a Scrum Master on SAFe, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust. Strong DevSecOps and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, developing, testing Java applications.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 50% hands-on software engineering: design, develop, test, review, and maintain cloud-native Java microservices.
• Approximately 50% Scrum Master responsibilities: facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, drive continuous improvement.
• Leverage DevSecOps practices and CI/CD to accelerate secure software delivery.
• Coordinate with Release Train Engineer and stakeholders to report status and risks.
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and issue resolution across environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster collaboration across teams.
