Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's with 6+ years.
• 5+ years designing, developing, testing, and reviewing Java applications.
• 2+ years as a Scrum Master on a SAFe Agile team in a large-scale environment.
• Extensive Web development experience with React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with JUnit and Mockito for unit testing.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, XSD.
• Strong Spring Framework, Spring Security, Spring Boot experience.
• Strong Linux experience; version control with Git or Subversion.
• Experience with IDEs like Eclipse or VS Code; strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain SF-85 Public Trust; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 50% hands-on software engineering: design, develop, test, review, and maintain cloud-native Java microservices.
• Approximately 50% Scrum Master responsibilities: facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, drive continuous improvement.
• Leverage DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate secure software delivery.
• Coordinate with Release Train Engineer and stakeholders to communicate status, risks, and progress.
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in development, test, and production environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote collaboration across teams.
