M.C. Dean, headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, is seeking an IT Systems Engineer 5 within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to design, integrate, operate, and maintain secure cyber-physical solutions for federal, local, and commercial customers.

The role focuses on architecting resilient systems, leading testing and deployment, and collaborating with government stakeholders to satisfy DoD security requirements, including TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ Years of progressive experience.
• Master’s Degree desirable.
• 10+ years of experience with the provision of system solutions for physical security systems and IT solutions.
• Experience eliciting requirements, conducting research, designing, testing, and implementing hardware and software solutions for data center and virtual infrastructure technologies.
• Strong engineering experience with VMware ESXi and vSphere, Windows Server Deployment and Administration, DNS/DHCP/DFS.

Responsabilités

• Design architectural frameworks for large, complex resilient systems to meet stakeholder needs and performance requirements.
• Provide technical direction for requirements development, design, engineering, configuration, integration, and testing of components.
• Assist with automation and optimization of engineering processes.
• Conduct system assessments (upgrades, migrations) and develop implementation plans.
• Prototype with industry partners to implement latest capabilities for customer needs.
• Develop system architecture and design documentation and verification tests.
• Interface with Government on Systems Engineering considerations and issues.
• Lead testing against established test plans and drive integration activities.
• Manage interface changes and ensuring documentation accuracy.
