Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks an Engineer 4 for its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit in Tysons, VA.

You will design, engineer, integrate, operate, and maintain electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers, handling intrusion detection, access control, biometrics, and video surveillance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline; 7+ years of similar scope experience.
• Must obtain a Security+ within 6 months.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining system documentation and maintenance records; generate weekly/monthly status reports.
• Staying current on industry trends and products for 4–6 hours per week.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot networks per Installation Design Package (IDP).
• Researching equipment and resolving issues during installation and testing.
• Collaborating with Design Dept to identify and correct design problems.
