Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an IT-oriented System Engineer 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will help design and implement secure, scalable hardware and virtualization infrastructure to meet DoD- and industry-grade requirements. You will lead requirements, design, testing, and integration efforts, coordinate with government and partners, and help automate engineering processes while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level-II requirements acknowledged.
• Experience with VMware ESXi/vSphere, Windows Server deployment and AD.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Experience securing data centers and virtual infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design architectural frameworks for large complex resilient systems.
• Provide technical direction for requirements, design, engineering, and integration.
• Assist with automation and optimization of engineering processes.
• Perform systems engineering assessments and planning.
• Interface with government and partners on technical considerations.
• Conduct testing against established plans.
• Review WBS and IMS for program/contracts.
