Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a System Engineer 3 for the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to lead design, implementation, and operations of secure, large-scale hardware and virtualized infrastructure.

You will work with government customers to ensure compliance with security and performance requirements. Qualifications include a TS/SCI with Poly, a bachelor’s in engineering, and 5+ years of system engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with 5+ years of progressive experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level-II requirements or equivalent.
• Experience with data center and virtual infrastructure technologies.
• Experience with secure IT solutions and cybersecurity practices.
• Ability to interact with government stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of architectural frameworks for large, complex resilient systems.
• Provide technical direction for requirements, design, testing, and integration.
• Coordinate system engineering assessments, upgrades, and lifecycle refreshes.
• Develop system architecture and design documentation and test plans.
• Perform configuration management and interface definition across teams.
• Engage with government agencies on technical considerations and issues.
