Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Sr Information Systems Engineer to own Cribl's core corporate systems—identity, endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and IT automation—keeping them secure, reliable, and scalable. You will partner with Security and People teams to design and run critical services such as Okta, AWS, ServiceNow, and MDM across a remote-first, distributed workforce.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate IT roles with responsibility for systems administration across identity, SaaS, and/or infrastructure in a cloud-first environment.
• Hands-on AWS administration (IAM, VPCs, EC2/ECS) supporting internal IT or SaaS platforms.
• ServiceNow administration: workflows, catalog, change/incident processes, and basic reporting.
• Enterprise identity provider experience with SSO and access policies (Okta preferred; Azure AD/Entra ID acceptable).
• Endpoint management for macOS and Windows (MDM) including baseline configs, patch management, and security reporting.
• Scripting experience (Python/PowerShell/Bash) and REST API familiarity.
• Remote-first operator capable of autonomous work in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Own the core corporate systems—identity, endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and IT automation—keeping them healthy, secure, and scalable.
• Design joiner/mover/leaver automations (e.g., Workday Okta SaaS) with least privilege and auditable workflows.
• Administer AWS accounts for corporate IT, VPN, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Own endpoint management via MDM (Jamf, Intune) including zero-touch provisioning and security baselines.
• Serve as primary ServiceNow administrator for IT & Security, supporting ITGC and SOX controls.
• Design and maintain automation workflows across IT systems and SaaS integrations (Okta, ServiceNow, Google Workspace, Slack, Azure/AWS).
• Evaluate and govern AI tools and MCP-based agent frameworks with proper access controls and runbooks.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation for incidents; contribute to IT metrics, fleet reporting, and knowledge base content.
