Job summary

Cribl, the AI telemetry platform, is seeking a Sr Information Systems Engineer to own core IT systems, including Okta, AWS, ServiceNow, and enterprise apps. You will shape identity, access, endpoints, and automation to keep Cribl secure and productive at scale.

In this remote‑first role, you’ll partner with Security, People, and Enterprise Applications to design, implement, and run critical services, manage on‑call duties, and drive compliance through ITGC and SOX controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate IT roles with significant responsibility for systems administration across identity, SaaS, and/or infrastructure in a cloud-first environment, balancing project work and on-call duties.
• Hands-on AWS administration (IAM, VPCs, EC2/ECS or similar) in internal IT or SaaS platforms.
• Hands-on ServiceNow administration, including workflows, catalog items, changes, incidents, and basic reporting.
• Direct production experience with an enterprise identity provider (Okta preferred; Azure AD/Entra ID acceptable) including SSO and access policies.
• Demonstrated ownership of macOS and/or Windows endpoint management in a mid-to-large fleet.
• Experience with scripting languages and REST APIs (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving, distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Own administration of our primary identity provider and joiner/mover/leaver automations with least privilege and auditability.
• Manage AWS accounts for internal IT, VPN, and infrastructure with secure networking, logging, and monitoring.
• Oversee endpoint management for macOS and Windows via MDM (Jamf, Intune) including provisioning, patching, baselines, and reporting.
• Serve as ServiceNow administrator for IT & Security, support ITGC/SOX controls and change management.
• Design automation workflows across IT systems using Okta Workflows, SerVal, Zapier, PowerShell/Python, APIs.
• Evaluate and govern AI tools and MCP-based agent frameworks with IT and Security.
• Provide Tier 3 on-call escalation for incidents and contribute to IT metrics and knowledge base.
