Job summary

Allyon is seeking a Senior IT Support Technician in Seattle, WA to install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software. You will provide on-site and remote support to program offices, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure IT policy compliance in mission environments.

The role requires a Secret clearance, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and 4 years in IT support. Travel will be required as part of field deployments and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT/CS or related field with 4 years in IT/field/user support roles.
• Experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft Office.
• Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting; IT equipment setup and maintenance.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Proficiency with remote IT support tools and ticketing systems; ability to collaborate across teams and travel as needed.

Senior IT Support Technician

What You Will Do

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, or related field, with 4 years of experience in IT and/or field/user support roles.
• Experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft Office.
• Must have strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, and experience with IT equipment setup and maintenance.
• Possess strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Must be proficient in remote IT support tools and ticketing systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
• Must be willing to travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Office 365 environments.
• Experience with Lexmark, HP, or Ricoh printer maintenance.
• Prior USACE or DoD IT experience.
• Military or Federal Government experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, GFACR, GSEC, CND). Please note that candidates may still be hired even if they do not yet hold one of the certifications listed. However, they must obtain the required certification within the first nine months of their employment with this customer.

• Compensation is determined based on experience, technical expertise, certifications, clearance level, and alignment to mission requirements and work location.
