Job summary

City of Broken Arrow is seeking an IT Help Desk professional to install, configure and support desktop PCs, peripherals, and software for staff. You’ll handle help desk inquiries, assist end-users with issues, track assets, and participate in after-hours support.

The role involves LAN cabling and Windows image management at city facilities. A bachelor’s degree in IT or 5+ years in IT Help Desk is required, with a valid Oklahoma driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or 5+ years in IT Help Desk.
• Experience with desktop setup, software installs, and support.
• Ability to obtain Oklahoma Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with installation, configuration, and usability of desktops and software.
• Answer help desk phones and emails.
• Support end-users with hardware and software issues.
• Receive assets, move equipment, and update asset records.
• Perform minor desktop hardware repairs and coordinate vendor repairs.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours/weekend support.
• Help with LAN cabling and network equipment setup and testing.
• Configure and update Windows OS images for city devices.
