Job summary

Red Rock Behavioral Health Services seeks an IT Support Technician in Oklahoma City to join the team and provide help desk support, troubleshooting, and basic desktop maintenance. The role coordinates with the IT Support Manager and involves hardware and software installation, user training, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of help desk experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Some travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years help desk experience preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize and conceptualize training methods and needs for each user and provide computer training to customers.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines; flexible in work schedule.
• Technical writing skills and ability to train all levels of users.
• Knowledge of PC hardware and software, networking and basic programming concepts.

Responsibilities

• Responds to telephone calls, emails and personnel requests for technical support.
• Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
• Provides first level technical support and troubleshooting to end users.
• Assists users with questions or problems.
• Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
• Documents, tracks and monitors problems to ensure timely resolution.
• Implements policies and procedures regarding problem identification and escalation as directed by the IT Support Manager.
• Assists in the installation, maintenance and general support of hardware and software systems.
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems, hardware and peripherals.
• Travels to sites to install PCs and hardware as needed.
