Tulsa Community College seeks a tech operations specialist to oversee PC, terminal, and printer repair operations across campus locations. You will coordinate installations, support communications, and serve as a resource within the technology services group.
The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree or equivalent in IT/Networking or related field, with PC diagnostics/repair experience, and A+ certification.
Oversee and implement personal computer, terminal, printer technology repair operations, and installations at Tulsa Community College campuses. Facilitate communications related to these operations, and serve as resource team member for technology and technology services. Provide for and oversee institutional software installation.
This is a Safety Sensitive position pursuant to Oklahoma StatuteOKLA. STAT. tit. 63, § 427.8 (2020).
Associate’s degree or equivalent education in Information Technology, Networking, or related area. Degree requirement may be substituted with equivalent work experience.
Personal computer support/help desk experience.
Initiative to maintain current knowledge and skills related to personal computer technology.
Ability to perform duties with limited supervision.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge and experience in the area of personal computer diagnostics and repair.
Knowledge of personal computer operating systems and software including MS Windows, MS Office, and Professional Suite.
A+ Certification.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
Ability to climb a ladder 10ft or more
