Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or work experience in IT may meet requirement.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management: Incident, Change, Service Request, and Asset Management.
• General knowledge of MS 365 applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Forms, SharePoint, Teams, Bookings).
• Experience leading meetings, collecting requirements, finding solutions, escalating issues, researching issues and solutions, and preparing comprehens
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software - hands-on or from a service desk.
• Ability to write clear emails explaining technical issues and follow up with users.
• Understand various types of technology and research them to troubleshoot issues.
• Knowledge of Virginia IT policies related to PC Refresh.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration; Microsoft Office Specialist Certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) is a plus.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• PC/Hardware experience; Windows 10 environment support.
• Hardware/software troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports user accounts, including rights, security, and groups.
• Performs basic operation, monitoring, installation, troubleshooting, or maintenance of communications equipment.
• Identifies and resolves basic communications problems.
• Prepares service record documentation and adheres to standards/regulations.
• Provides technical assistance for applications and hardware problems.
• Installs, maintains, moves, tests, and upgrades hardware/software.
• Reviews and recommends procurement of IT equipment.
