Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Supervisor, IT Support, based on-site at our Long Beach, CA headquarters. You will lead a team delivering IT services to facilities regionally, ensuring timely ticket resolution, SLA adherence, and strong collaboration with Infrastructure, Launch, and Cybersecurity teams.

You will drive regional IT projects, define clear policies, and mentor a high-performing group of IT professionals, with occasional travel and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

10+ years in a support or service role with progressive responsibility.
Some leadership experience, even informal, like mentoring or training others.
Hands-on experience with ITSM tools like Jira, ServiceNow or similar, and experience following ITIL.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day Service Desk operations, leading a team of IT Support staff.
Manage incident queues, prioritization and SLA compliance across regional facilities.
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide escalated technical support as needed.
Provide clear directions and guidance to the IT support team to align with goals and SLAs.
Lead regional IT projects and document policies, procedures, and processes.
