Job summary

Insteel Industries is seeking a Support Analyst III to resolve inquiries, service requests, and outages for the organization’s technology and computer systems. The role covers hardware, software, MS Office, OS, and mobility devices, with emphasis on troubleshooting and escalation.

The analyst will maintain user accounts, assist with audits, and contribute to knowledge creation. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with IT security awareness and ITIL familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in technical support, IT services, or a related field.
• Experience in enterprise account services, preferably supporting Microsoft Active Directory environments.

Responsibilities

• Support end-users in use of computer hardware and software by telephone, e-mail, or on-site.
• Interviewing user to collect information and guiding through diagnostic procedures.
• Logging and tracking calls using Service Desk management software.
• Performing incident development to collect information for troubleshooting or escalation.
• Researching problems with applications and recommending solutions.
• Coordinating data recovery and reconstruction for clients as needed.
• Liaising between Application Development, Operations, and clients.
