Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Senior in Technology Risk Assurance to assist in IT audit planning and execution of IT risk assessments. You will design procedures to understand client IT environments and test ITGCs including access, change management and operational controls, while mentoring IS Assurance Associates.

The role emphasizes testing business processes, key reports, and information produced by the entity (IPE) across diverse client industries, with opportunities to train and guide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Systems, required.
• Master’s degree in Information Systems or related field, preferred.
• More than two years IT audit and related risk and controls experience, required.
• Proficient with PCAOB and AICPA audit standards, required.

Responsibilities

• Plan IT audit engagements and execute IT risk assessments.
• Test IT general controls (ITGCs) such as access, change management, and operations.
• Test business process controls and information produced by entity (IPE).
• Provide training, mentoring and technical guidance to associates.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to client, management and team.
