Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assurance Senior, Technology Risk Assurance to assist in IT audit planning and to execute IT risk assessments and control evaluations. You will design tests for ITGCs such as logical access, change management, and operations, and test business process controls and IPE.

The role includes mentoring junior staff and guiding the team through complex issues. The position emphasizes strong communication with client personnel and the ability to manage multiple engagements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Systems is required.
• Master’s degree in Information Systems or related field is preferred.
• More than two years IT audit and/or related risk and controls experience is required.
• More than one year of supervisory experience is required.
• CPA, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CISSP and/or CFE certification strongly preferred.
• Proficient with PCAOB and AICPA audit standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan IT audits and execute IT risk assessment and control evaluation.
• Design and execute tests for ITGCs including access, change mgmt, and operations.
• Test business process controls and information produced by entity (IPE).
• Provide training, mentoring and technical guidance to associates.
• Develop client relationships and communicate control improvements to client personnel.
• Travel up to 30% as needed.
