Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Senior, Technology Risk Assurance to help plan IT audit engagements and evaluate IT controls impacting financial reporting. You will design procedures, test ITGCs, and assess the effect of controls on audit procedures while mentoring junior staff.

You will collaborate with client teams across industries, document findings, communicate risk and control improvements, and support ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• More than two (2) years of IT audit and/or related risk and controls experience, required
• More than one (1) year of supervisory experience, required
• Public accounting experience, highly desired
• Proficient with PCAOB and AICPA audit standards, required

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audits, including understanding IT environments, risks and controls
• Design and test procedures to evaluate controls and document results
• Communicate findings and recommended improvements to client areas
• Mentor and coach associate staff on engagement procedures
• Collaborate with team and client to ensure timely delivery and quality of work
