Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assurance Senior, Technology Risk Assurance to plan IT audit engagements and execute IT risk assessments and control evaluations. You will design procedures to test ITGCs, document findings, and assess impacts on the financial reporting environment across varied client environments.

The role also includes providing training and technical guidance to IS Assurance Associates, supporting complex issues, and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
• Master's degree in Information Systems or related advanced degree preferred.
• More than two years IT audit and related risk and controls experience.
• More than one year supervisory experience; public accounting highly desired.
• CPA, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CISSP and/or CFE strongly preferred.
• Proficient with PCAOB and AICPA audit standards; SOC testing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan IT audits, including understanding the IT environment, risk and controls.
• Design and execute procedures to evaluate IT general controls (ITGCs) and business process controls.
• Document results, deficiencies, and impacts on financial reporting controls.
• Mentor and provide training to IS Assurance Associates and other staff.
