Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Senior, Technology Risk Assurance in Massachusetts to help plan IT audit engagements, assess IT risks, and evaluate how controls impact financial procedures. You will design and execute procedures to test ITGCs such as access controls, change management, and operational controls, and you will document results and deficiencies while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires 2+ years of IT audit experience, CPA/CISA/CISM preferred, strong communication and team

Qualifications

• IT audit and/or related risk and controls experience (2+ years) required
• Supervisory experience (1+ year) required
• Public accounting experience highly desired
• Proficient with PCAOB and AICPA standards
• Experience with SOC reports review/testing preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan IT audits and assess IT risks and controls
• Design and execute test procedures for ITGCs
• Document findings and report to client and team
• Mentor and guide junior staff
• Communicate control improvements to clients
