Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Sr. IT Portfolio Manager to mature lean portfolio management across the IT organization and foster partnerships with IT and Business leaders to drive strategic value.

The role combines lean portfolio principles with the technology portfolio to guide proactive decision-making, manage risks, and ensure benefits realization across initiatives. You will oversee reporting, budgeting, and KPI tracking for leadership visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Business or related field.
• 7+ years IT program/project management with portfolio responsibilities.
• Experience with SAFe, AzureDevOps and various ALM tools.
• Proven leadership in agile transformations.

Responsibilities

• Mature lean portfolio management across IT and partner with IT and Business leaders.
• Develop value-oriented plans for proactive decision-making addressing risks and dependencies.
• Oversee portfolio reporting, budgets, schedules, risks, and mitigations.
• Coach Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and teams in Lean-Agile delivery.
• Define and implement portfolio management processes for evidence-based IT investments.
