Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking a dedicated IT Operations Engineer for the Americas to own workplace technology across New York, Atlanta, SF, Mexico City and Brazil. You will help onboard/offboard, support office openings and travel up to 25% to ensure consistent service for executives and teams.

You will operate with the UK-based central team, document fixes to scale, and mentor growing teams while maintaining top-tier service for all users.

Qualifications

Regional autonomy: sole or primary IT presence for an office or region.
Operational improvement: identify recurring issues and scale fixes with measured impact.
Technical depth and breadth across macOS/Windows, identity, collaboration tools, AV and networking.
Independent service ownership: end-to-end ownership with accountability for diagnosis to prevention.

Responsibilities

Be the senior IT point of contact for Americas offices and remote employees, including executives in the New York Office.
Own issues through resolution or proper escalation, covering devices, identity, AV, and networking.
Lead Americas onboarding/offboarding and hardware logistics.
Support office openings, moves and events across the region, travel up to 25%.
Manage vendor relationships, inventory, procurement, and follow through on each.
Log work in Jira Service Management for auditable traceability.
