Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal Houston seeks a Senior Associate to join our IT & Merger Integration team, delivering end-to-end technology and process integration for private equity engagements.

You will lead pre-acquisition diligence, design integration roadmaps, and drive Day-1 and Day-100 outcomes while collaborating with clients and internal teams. A bachelor’s degree and 3–6 years in consulting are required, with travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience with at least 3 years in systems implementations, merger integration, and change management.
• Deep functional expertise in IT diligence, merger integration, ERP, supply chain, or finance/accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-acquisition IT diligence focusing on ERP, WMS, CRM, IT infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• Oversee merger integration and carve-out execution for portfolio companies.
• Drive Day‑1 and Day‑100 planning and execution to improve ERP, back office, supply chain, and BI/reporting.
• Maintain quality deliverables and manage day‑to‑day client relationships to ensure superior performance.
