Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our technology infrastructure in Playa Vista, Los Angeles. You will work on architectures for servers, networks, and cloud services, and drive automation across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux ecosystems.

You will lead projects, provide Tier 3 support, and help secure our environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and on-site commitment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field is required.
• 5-7 years of hands-on IT engineering, systems administration, or network engineering experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI Security Clearance required.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Playa Vista, Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering, administration, and troubleshooting of systems, servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud infrastructure.
• Build, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers from deployment through ongoing management.
• Administer Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux environments.
• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VLANs, Wi-Fi, VPNs, routing, switching, firewalls, and network policies.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID, Intune, Jira/Confluence, and Slack.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Lead or participate in IT infrastructure projects with timely, accurate delivery.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support and assist other IT teams with complex issues.
• Document configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and project changes.
