American Water is seeking a Senior, Technology Field Services Specialist to configure, install, troubleshoot, and support IT hardware and software for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices across the enterprise. The role supports asset management, budgeting, and change management while enabling reliable production schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT work experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
• MDM Tools (WS1 / SCCM) – Intermediate
• AV Systems – Intermediate
• Budget Management – Intermediate
• Communications – Intermediate (Written & Spoken)
• Project Management – Intermediate
• Mobility – iPad/iPhone/Tablet – Intermediate
• Office 365 – Intermediate
• Associate Degree preferred or 7+ years in a similar role
• A+ Certification Preferred; Microsoft Certifications a Plus

Responsibilities

• Provides maintenance and support for client products, telecom, peripherals, servers, mobile devices, networks, fleet connectivity, and moves.
• Configures, deploys and implements new assets and/or lifecycle replacement.
• Applies and enforces Change Management policies and procedures.
• Provides 24x7 after-hours technical field support.
• Delivers data to support root cause analysis.
• Works with vendor support for resolutions.
• Maintains knowledge database to improve problem resolutions.
• Proactively identifies issues and develops resolutions.
