Job summary

Asset Technology Group is seeking a Field Technician to deliver on-site and remote IT support for diverse clients, from offices to medical facilities. You will deploy hardware, troubleshoot infrastructure, and keep systems healthy in a fast-paced service model.

You will work with engineers and use strict ticket hygiene, documenting activities and following security controls. The role requires 2–4 years of experience, 50 lb lift capability, and travel about 75% within a 3-hour radius of the main

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of IT service delivery experience in desktop support or field tech roles.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows and macOS environments.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and network devices.
• Ability to work independently across diverse client environments.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders as needed.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel ~75% of the time within 3 hours of the main office.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for client hardware, software, and networks.
• Install and configure workstations, servers, network devices, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve desktop, server, and network issues.
• Minimize downtime and maintain system health.
• Maintain ticket hygiene and document all service activities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and cabling for network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers on larger deployments.
• Ensure security and compliance per HIPAA, PCI, or CJIS when applicable.
