Job summary

Brown & Brown Insurance seeks an Asset Manager in Daytona Beach, FL or Plano, TX to own enterprise hardware IT Asset Management end-to-end. You will govern asset records in ServiceNow, ensure data integrity, and drive lifecycle operations across multiple locations with 20,000+ teammates.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT asset management, strong Excel skills, and experience with endpoint discovery and CMDB integration.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in IT asset management, IT operations, or closely related discipline.
• Experience implementing or operating ITAM in ServiceNow and its asset module.
• Working knowledge of endpoint management and discovery tooling.
• Track record of establishing process and holding cross-functional teams accountable.

Responsibilities

• Own daily/weekly reconciliation between discovery data, endpoint tooling, procurement records, and the ServiceNow asset record.
• Manage asset exception/aging queue with field services, service desk, admins, engineers, and technicians.
• Track unaccounted, missing, and stale assets; follow up with teammates and locations.
• Maintain accurate stock and spare inventory across locations; manage thresholds and replenishment triggers.
• Verify and correct asset data including location and status; perform physical or remote verification when needed.
• Process and validate receiving, deployment, transfer, return, and disposal transactions within service levels.
• Build and produce recurring asset reports including reconciliation, aging, and recovery.
